Optical imaging and analysis system for fluorescent, bioluminescent signals in vitro (plants) BIOVIVO™ G adv
- High Sensitivity
Equipped with a specialized back-illuminated cooled CCD camera, designed for in vivo imaging systems. Quantum efficiency reaches 95% in the 500-700 nm range. The multi-stage cooling system in “Ultra” mode allows the camera temperature to be lowered to -100°C, effectively reducing background noise caused by dark current. This ensures exceptionally high sensitivity in detecting even weak signals, guaranteeing reliable results for both bioluminescent and fluorescent in vivo imaging.
- High Image Clarity
The camera boasts a 4-megapixel resolution. The system provides detailed, high-quality images without compromising sensitivity.
- High Acquisition Speed
A high-speed fixed lens with an aperture of f/<0.9 significantly increases the optical signal acquisition speed. This reduces image formation time, lowers noise levels arising from long exposures, and effectively improves the signal-to-noise ratio in the final image.
- Full Spectrum
Xenon light source with full spectral coverage (250-1200 nm), providing fluorescent excitation across the entire range, which meets the requirements for multispectral imaging.
- Multifunctionality
Temperature and humidity control inside the light-tight chamber. Equipped with a thermoregulated stage with a temperature range from 16°C to 45°C, suitable for studies involving various types of temperature stress.
The lighting system, combining 8 spectral ranges (UV-visible-near IR), simulates sunlight. The intensity and duration of illumination for each spectrum or their combinations can be freely adjusted. Illumination intensity can reach 26,000 lux (at a distance of 400 mm), making the system applicable for studies of plant biorhythms and photoperiodic responses.
- High Throughput
Allows simultaneous imaging of 16 samples in soil pots or 10 cm Petri dishes, meeting the requirements for high-throughput screening.
- Multiple Sample Handling
The system has a field of view for imaging of at least 400×400 mm. The continuously adjustable stage allows for dynamic observation of plants at all stages of their life cycle — from seed germination and seedling stage to mature plant formation.
